The food is always good. The staff is helpful and friendly. The portions are good and the price reasonable.

Wonferful place to eat, exceptional customer service and delicious homecooked food.

Great surprise! Wasn't sure what I was getting into, since it's in a little strip mall, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The owner was there to serve us and was super friendly to my dad and uncle, who took me there. Apparently, they go a lot, since he knew their names. Lol. Great place.

Nice environment, quick, friendly service. Food was tasty. Except the rice was dry, even with teriyaki sauce. Kinda high priced at $7.75.

Eat in here 1 once a week. Fried Pork Chops, Black-eye peas and Rice are great. The price is under $8.50 with a refillable drink (tea or soda). They have Coke Product a good Ice tea. The Macaroni and Cheese casserole tends to be soupy.Collars well cooked and taste great

Staff was extremely friendly, however I came for the fish and I don't know if it was the presentation but the fish didn't appear to have seasoning and didn't appear as it needed for my taste nor was I willing to gamble the price of a meal on its appearance... This is just my personal opinion... And I plan on coming back at a different time

The service was bordering on total disdain for me as a customer. Was it the color of my skin? I believe so because his facial expression was totally different from the Caucasian customers behind me. His attitude took me back to the days of segregation. If you bow to this type of behavior you will stand for anything.

The staff was ok. We noticed the older man that helps run this place can be a little odd. Good food though

The meatloaf was great, mashed potatoes were meh, the peach cobbler was nothing short of perfect.If you go make sure you talk to Cookie. She is the heart and soul of that place. I told her I’d come back if all they had were white bread sandwiches just to get a dose of positivity and comfort.

Country fried steak good, fried chicken good, mashed potatoes are actually real potatoes!!!! Mac & Cheese good. Meat two sides drink and roll $7.48 Fried chicken could be fried a little more crispy but overall Awesome. Hands down better than fried green tomatoes restaurant.

First off, great initial impression! Both servers were warm and greeted us with genuine smiles...it actually caught me off guard in a good way. The selection was simple and straightforward = 1 meat + 2 sides + drink = set price. Food was hot and we'll seasoned. We have found a new place to dine close to home.

Worked at Encompass for a while and this would literally be the whole crews favorite place. Best soul food and overall great environment miss the scenery and the crew. There cat fish is honestly the best in my opinion and there fried chicken and macaroni. Plus they greet you with southern hospitality but we always joked around lol. I went there today to freshen up with the crew and eat pork chops.

Had the country fried steak, collards and Mac and cheese. The steak was real good and laid on a bed of rice. The collards and mac and cheese had some some good flavor. I'll go back for lunch.

Enjoyed sunday dinner, cozy place that was not crowded. Will visit again

Food was mediocre, but the owner was a real piece of work!!! Asked for a recite for my meal and he tells me he cant print one. Then he did!!!I had previously asked for a cup of ice for my ice te . And one for the tea, the server obliged. As I was fixing my drink the owner comes over and proceeds to take the cup saying one cup only!I explained to him I told his employee that I needed two one for ice and one for the tea. The then tells me that the plastic styrofoam cup cost a $1.50🤬. My last time here ever!!!🤬🤬🤬 and the chicken was dry!!!

Food was good but a roach ran across the counter as we were getting drinks.

A nice Asian family serving traditional southern food in a cafeteria style. Not a buffet. It was great until the recent rate hike to 8.25 per plate.

New owner/ chief. The food has immensely upgraded in taste, and portions are deliciously monstrous. The staff is super polite. This place would make Boston Market a great run for their money. I would highly if you’re in the area.

Never liked the vibe I get comin into this place (racist). The food is awful. They serve alot of elderly so u can imagine what the food taste like.
